3. Iridium spark plugs: They have strong ignition energy and fine electrodes, enabling rapid and precise ignition, enhancing engine power and fuel economy. However, they are relatively expensive and are often used in high-performance engines.
4. Double iridium spark plugs: Both the central electrode and the side electrode are made of iridium, further enhancing the ignition performance. They offer excellent cold start and acceleration performance, as well as a long service life.

Standard spark plug: The insulator skirt is slightly retracted into the end face of the housing, and the side electrodes are outside the end face of the housing. It is the most widely used type.
2. Insulator protruding spark plug: The insulator skirt is relatively long and protrudes beyond the end face of the housing. It has the advantages of large heat absorption and good anti-fouling ability, and can be directly cooled by the intake air to lower the temperature. Therefore, it is not easy to cause hot ignition, and thus has a wide thermal adaptability range.
3. Fine-electrode spark plugs: Their electrodes are very thin. They are characterized by strong sparks, good ignition performance, and can ensure the engine starts quickly and reliably even in cold seasons. They have a wide thermal range and can meet various applications.
4. Conical seat type spark plug: Its housing and the threaded insertion are made into a conical shape, so it can maintain a good seal without a gasket, thereby reducing the volume of the spark plug and being more beneficial to the design of the engine.
5. Multi-pole spark plugs: The side electrodes are usually two or more. Their advantages are reliable ignition and the gap does not need to be adjusted frequently. Therefore, they are often used in gasoline engines where the electrodes are prone to erosion and the gap of the spark plugs cannot be adjusted frequently.
6. Edge spark plug: Also known as edge gap type, it is the coldest type of spark plug, with the gap between the center electrode and the end face of the shell being concentric.

Resistive spark plugs are equipped with a resistor of 5-10kΩ inside the spark plug, while shielded spark plugs use a metal housing to shield and seal the entire spark plug.
